The current position

Explain simply

Imagine repeatedly copying a set of rules about protecting people. Copying them faithfully keeps the rules. Losing or changing them in one direction can change the outcome.

Loss of protective values across simulated generations follows only under particular transmission assumptions. Exact copying and unbiased transmission do not, by themselves, imply a decline in average protection; directional bias and correction rules change the result.

Try changing one assumption in the model. Show whether protections survive and compare it with a fair baseline.

  • Which values are transmitted, omitted or selected against?
  • Does the result persist against an unbiased baseline and across random seeds?
  • Can a correction mechanism preserve protection, and at what cost in the model?

Compare several copying rules: exact copies, random changes, biased losses and corrections. Show which rule produces which result.

Publish the transmission rule, initial conditions, random seeds and outcome distribution. Compare exact copying, unbiased variation, biased omission and correction toward a reference. Explain which conclusion is a property of the chosen model and which would require evidence about real agents.

What the evidence can tell us

These are models built from chosen assumptions. They do not reveal who created our world or why suffering exists.

The existing work is a synthetic model, not a measurement of creator morality, our ancestry or the causes of suffering. Its assumptions can be audited without accepting the broader simulation hypothesis.
